When I lost my brother to Aids it broke my heart and my parents never really got over it, his friends were fantastic and his partner always carried on being a friend, often in contact with my father until he died and my mother until her death, taking her out and helping her to enjoy holidays with his parents in Spain, there is never a day goes by that I do not talk to my brother even after so many year.
